Signature. Malick Sidibé
Limited to 200 pcs. Dial edited from an artwork by Malick Sidibé. Watch assembled in Paris.
Known for his black and white photographs, Malick Sidibé has the art of capturing the joyful movements of dancing poses. Transporting us to a post-independence Mali, his festive shots like the "Yé-yé dancer" have earned him numerous awards and distinctions. In 2017, they were also exhibited at the Fondation Cartier during a never-before-seen retrospective in tribute to the artist.

Working with French artisans and partners, we assemble our dials by hand using craft skills and printing techniques. From the laboratory to our workshop on rue de Bellechasse, our artistic dials are imagined, developed and crafted with local actors.
The choice of such an environment ensures a controlled production, reducing stocks in order to produce only what is necessary. It is for this same reason that our products are never sold out.
Since 2018, LAPS is labeled by the city of Paris for its local approach. This label promotes products made in the capital and demonstrates the excellence as well as the diversity of Parisian craftsmanship.
To minimize the environmental impact of our products, we aimed to design boxes that are fully recyclable and plastic-free.
If you wish, we give you the option of having our products delivered to you in a simple Kraft envelope. We are therefore committed to donating 5€ for the benefit of an association involved in protecting the environment.
