Marbled paper is originally a technique derived from a Japanese art called suminagashi, from the XII century.
Marbling is the process of floating colored inks on the surface of a liquid and to organize them with a point to create a pattern. Then the design is captured by direct transfer on a sheet paper.
Each work is in that way unique.
